Local Delivery

Darwin, Palmerston & Rural Area

We provide free local delivery for orders over $60 within Darwin City, Northern Suburbs, Palmerston & Rural area as far as Humpty Doo and everywhere in between.

Delivery is available on Tuesdays and Fridays between 2:30pm and 6pm.  Please contact us if these times will not work for you.

At checkout you can choose your day - we need you to be home at this time to take delivery of your order or have a pre-arranged safe place/freezer to leave your goods.

Bulky / Oversize items

Parcel post and express shipping exclude bulky items and dry goods over 5kg.  Excluded products will be highlighted in your shopping cart.

If your order contains a bulky item you will be requested to provide us your contact details and we will obtain a freight cost for you.

This natural, Zinc-free Sun Cream can be used on dogs, cats and horses that are exposed to the sun. Dr Zoo use edible oils along with Titanium Dioxide to provide sun protection, which is an alternative to Zinc, which is toxic for pets when consumed in large quantities. Animals that have light coloured noses, thin or missing fur, or that just like to sunbake upside down exposing their bellies, are most in need of sun protection.

Directions

Apply to the nose, ear tips, skin surrounding the lips, and any area where skin is exposed to the sun, particularly pink skinned areas. Re-apply after swimming.

Purified Water Oils alone tend to sit on the surface of the skin. Combining oils with water (using an emulsifier) helps the oils penetrate and moisturise the skin properly
Titanium Dioxide An alternative to zinc which is toxic for pets. It is used in toothpastes and treats for pets
Tocopherol (Vitamin E) Natural Vitamin E. Promotes healthy skin
Coco-Caprylate Coconut based conditioner
Triglyceride Fractionated Coconut Oil
Glyceryl Stearate Acts as a lubricant on the skin's surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It also slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier on the skin's surface.
Cetearyl Alcohol (Plant Emulsifier) Creams are made from a mix of purified water and oils so as to be more moisturising than oil alone. To hold water and oils together, they need an emulsifying wax. We use a plant based wax that allows the water and oils to stay together.
Piroctone Olamine Helps keep the balm sterile
Naringin Natural bittering agent from orange peel
Dicaprylyl Carbonate Emollient ingredient. It spreads easily and leaves a velvety feel on skin without seeming greasy or slick. It also helps other ingredients penetrate skin better.
Aluminium Stearate Used as an emulsifier in cosmetics and as water repellent agent
