It's considered a welfare concern in companion animals, especially if left untreated, and is often called a "silent pain" since dogs frequently suffer without their guardians realising or acknowledging it.
Arthritis is often thought of as a disease of old age, but it can occur in dogs of any age - developmental joint disease, which affects younger dogs, is actually the leading cause of arthritis.

Ingredients: Boswellia Serrata (Boswellia), Zingiber officinale (Ginger), Apium graveolens (Celery Seed), Salix Alba (White Willow Bark), Glucosamine Hydrochloride, Chondroitin, Rosa canina L. (Rosehips), Menyanthes (Bog Bean), Achillea millefolium (Yarrow), Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion Root).
Directions: Give according to your pet's weight, or as recommended by your animal healthcare professional. We recommend giving a small portion of daily food intake, separate from the normal meal.
- Cats: 1/8 tsp twice daily
- Dogs 0- 5 kg: 1/4 tsp daily
- Dogs 6-15 kg: 1/2 tsp daily
- Dogs 15- 25 kg: 1 tsp daily
- Dogs 26- 35 kg: 1 1/2 tsp daily
- Dogs 36-45 kg: 2 tsp daily
- Dogs over 45 kg: 3 tsp daily
Storage: store below 25 degrees Celsius, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
