About Aussie Pooch
Aussie Pooch exists to put animals first. Every product we stock is carefully curated to support dogs and cats with real health challenges, using solutions that work in harmony with their natural biology—not quick fixes or trend-driven products.
Our range is backed by deep expertise in animal wellness and a commitment to evidence-informed, functional nutrition. We focus on helping pet guardians make confident, informed decisions, without the overwhelm or guesswork that often comes with managing complex health needs.
Above all, we are driven by ethics. Every product is hand-selected against a simple standard: if it’s not good enough for our own animals, it’s not good enough for yours. We only partner with brands that share our commitment to responsible sourcing, animal-first care, and long-term wellbeing.
Wherever possible, our products are Australian made or sourced from trusted suppliers that meet our quality and safety standards. Individual product pages list specific sourcing information.
Our range is developed in collaboration with experienced animal health professionals and suppliers who specialise in canine and/or feline nutrition and holistic support. Our goal is to complement holistic veterinary care, not replace it.
Products & Ingredients
Many Aussie Pooch products are suitable for dogs and cats of all life stages. However, puppies/kittens, seniors, and dogs/cats with existing medical conditions may have different needs. Always check the product description or contact us if you’re unsure.
We prioritise products with minimal processing and avoid unnecessary artificial colours, flavours, and preservatives wherever possible.
Yes most of our supplements are grain-free, but this can vary by product. Please refer to the ingredient list on each product page for full details.
Yes, many of our products are designed to work alongside each other. Our bundles are curated to support specific conditions such as skin, digestion, joints, or respiratory health. If your dog or cat is on medication or has complex needs, please check with a trusted holistic vet.
Health & Safety
No. Our products are intended to support your dog or cat’s health and wellbeing, not diagnose or treat disease. If your dog or cat is unwell, in pain, or symptoms persist, we always recommend consulting a trusted integrative or holistic veterinarian.
If your dog or cat is on medication or has a diagnosed condition, consult a holistic vet before introducing new supplements or dietary changes.
Many of our products are suitable for long-term use when used as directed. However, ongoing health conditions should be monitored, and any concerns discussed with a qualified holistic veterinary professional. Refer to the individual product description for further information.
If you notice any unusual symptoms, stop using the product immediately and consult a trusted holistic veterinarian. You can also contact us so we can support you further.
Using Our Products
This depends on the product and your dog or cat’s condition. Some dogs/cats show improvements within days, while others may take several weeks or months. Results will also depend on what else you change with the animal's diet and lifestyle. Non of our products are silver bullets but are designed to compliment other healthy diet and lifestyle changes. Consistency is key, and underlying factors such as diet and environment can influence results. If you expect a shampoo, cream or spray to fix your problem overnight, we’re not the store for you.
We recommend starting with our condition-specific bundles or product categories to help guide your choice. If you’re still unsure, our team is happy to help. Simply reach out to us here.
Many of our products are designed to be palatable, some are tasteless, but some have a smell and taste (e.g. our herbal blends), and are easy to mix with fresh moist food. If your dog or cat is particularly fussy, gradual introduction often helps.
Yes. As your dog or cat’s needs change, you may need to adjust products. If you’re uncertain about switching, contact us for guidance.
Visiting Our Store
Absolutely—friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. If your dog is anxious, shy, or reactive, please chat with us first so we can help make the visit calm and stress-free.
To support a positive experience for every animal and human, we kindly ask that you:
- Ask before patting someone else’s dog (and let the dog choose to say hello).
- Keep greetings relaxed—please avoid practising obedience drills in-store.
- If your dog has an accident, don’t scold or drag them mid-toilet. Just let a team member know where it happened—our concrete floors make clean-up easy.
Cats and other animals are welcome too (securely contained), but please be mindful that some dogs may not be safe around cats, small animals, or reptiles.
Harness Fittings
We’re known for our humane, ergonomically designed harnesses, and we offer free fittings in our private, air-conditioned harness fitting room.
No booking required.
We usually have a team member available, though there may be a short wait during busy times.
If your dog is nervous, shy, or reactive, we recommend visiting outside peak times—give us a call and we’ll suggest a quieter window.
If your dog is people- or dog-reactive, we have a protocol to keep everyone safe:
- Please leave your dog in the air-conditioned car, come inside, and let our team know you’ve arrived.
- We’ll coordinate a safe entry straight into the fitting room.
Puppy School
We offer a puppy program run by the experienced and certified Pawsitive K9 Behaviour. The program includes:
- Online sessions, plus
- four in-store group socialisation sessions on Tuesday evenings
- Small groups of 4–6 puppies
Eligibility:
- Puppies must be 9–18 weeks old at enrolment
- Puppies must have had their second vaccination to attend group sessions
For enrolments and more details, please contact Pawsitive K9 Behaviour.
