Pet Relax works by providing a highly attractive environmental scent that pets like cats, dogs and small mammals respond to. Cats, dogs and other pets have highly developed olfactory systems, particularly capable of detecting volatile scents. Several years of research and trials have resulted in the unique Pet Relax formula, using low-concentration valerian essential oil, blended with vetiver, sweet basil and sage. The formula contains a pet attractant and works by distracting pets like cats and dogs from environmental stress, helping maintain normal composure. Pet Relax works alongside the brain's natural messengers, called neurotransmitters, which tell the receiving nerve either to calm (via the GABA pathway) or get "fired up."

Use sparingly. Do not spray near your pet's mouth, nose or eyes. Spray directly on a bandana, bedding, carpet, soft furnishings, in the car, stable or horsebox. When walking a difficult or anxious dog, simply spray on your trouser leg - you can even spray your own tunic if handling an anxious pet.
