Parasite protection is an important part of owning a pet. Drontal® is recommended for the treatment and control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs, including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm), and controls the shedding of Giardia cysts. Does not control heartworm.
Dosage: each tablet treats 10kg of body weight.
Directions: Dose every 3 months, or at the start of every season, to control roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. In hydatid tapeworm areas, treat every 6 weeks. If whipworm is a problem, treat every 6-8 weeks. Giardia should be confirmed by a vet before treatment, and dosed for 3 consecutive days at the correct weight-based dose.
