Kangaroo is a very popular flavour for both dogs and cats. Kangaroo offers the highest protein level of any of the meat types, rich in omega-6 fatty acids and essential amino acids, and an excellent source of dietary zinc, iron and other minerals. It's also very digestible.
Turkey is an alternative to more common flavours and a great option for cats with allergies, offering a natural, healthy protein with a nutrient profile similar to chicken.
Urinary tract health: some cats (particularly males) are susceptible to urinary crystal build-up, which can block and lacerate the urinary tract - a painful and potentially serious condition. Maintaining correct mineral levels (particularly magnesium) and a good supply of sulphur amino acids may help support healthy urinary pH as part of overall urinary tract wellbeing. If your cat shows any signs of urinary difficulty (straining, frequent trips to the litter tray, blood in urine, vocalising while urinating, or being unable to urinate), please see your vet immediately - this can become a medical emergency, especially in male cats.
