Canine Kidney

The Science

Astragalus membranaceas: (Astralagus)

The biological effects of Astragalus have been investigated in several animal models of kidney disease. The results (published in Kidney International) from these studies suggest that Astragalus treatment reduces proteinuria and attenuates kidney injury. These effects are associated with inactivation of free radicals, inhibition of nitric oxide synthesis, and reduction of tumour necrosis factor-α production (Zhong:Deng:Chen:Chaung:Kidney Int.2013;84(6):1108-1118.

Rosa canina (Rosehips) 

A study on Rosa canina fruit extracts on renal disturbances found Rosa canina had protective effects against kidney function disturbances, oxidative stress and histological damages. (Ashtiyani:Najafi:Jalalvandi:Hosseinei Journal of Kidney Disease Vol.7 no4 July 2013)

Instructions for Use

Shake well before use. For best results use continuously for a minimum of 3-12 weeks.  Discontinue use 24 hours prior to any surgical procedure and wait 24 hours after surgery before continuing use. If symptoms persist consult a veterinarian or Herbal practitioner
